Many people find it difficult to draft a letter that gets their point across in an effective way, and achieves what they want to achieve.
The following letter was shared by a friend, and I’m sharing it here as I think it is beautifully written. (some links may no longer work, no surprise there!). It doesn’t mince words when it comes to facts and science, but remains positive and trusting of the adults it addresses. It expects them to employ common sense and make good decisions. Most importantly, it provides some practical suggestions that the school can take. There are no accusations, no assumptions made about the school’s motives. Just simple, plain language about how this mother feels about the school’s actions, without going overboard.
I don’t know who the author of this letter is but, if it is you, please get in touch with me at cacuk.pm.me!
I hope you find it useful…
“I am upset to hear of the nasal vaccination being administered in [school’s name]. I have many concerns not only for the children but the staff too at being exposed to this toxic vaccine.
“Last year I gave my research to the Headteacher and staff. The school chose to move the date of the admistration of the nasal flu vaccine to a time that gave parents more choice over their child’s wellbeing.
“For parents to make informed choice they should be given both sides of the argument and given honest information. This is not what is given to parents via NHS.
“It is interesting to note that the nasal flu vaccine has not been successful and has been stopped in America.
“Each parent should be given a list of ingedients and side effects which is not offered.
“Please read the following from doctors in a London alternative clinic: http://www.babyjabs.co.uk/flu_vaccine.html
“Doctor explaining how flu vaccine weakens immunity each year it is given: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1158083534323970&id=614072562058406
“I was quite shocked by the information – or rather lack of it – provided by the NHS, via yourselves, along with the consent form.
“Immunisation in the UK is based on informed consent and for that consent to be valid it must be voluntary and informed and the person given the full information about what the treatment involves, including benefits and risks, whether there are reasonable alternative treatments, and what will happen if the treatment does not go ahead. The information provided by the NHS falls far short of this and is written to encourage uptake of the vaccine. The estimated value of the nasal flu vaccination for children in the UK is £100m, with GPs being paid, on top of their annual salary, for each vaccination they carry out. The literature fails to provide full disclosure but where there is financial incentive for the individuals providing information and guidance I do not find this surprising.
“As the vaccines are taking place in our school environment I believe the school should provide full information to parents (effectiveness, safety, shedding, side effects) in the best interests of the children.
“The nasal spray vaccine for Influenza (Flu) is currently offered in the UK for all children in Reception and Years 1 to 4. The name of the vaccine is Fluenz (UK)or Flumist (US).
“The vaccine contains 4 GM (Genetically modified) strains of the live virus, including H1N1 (swine flu)
“It has been cited in the UK when promoting the nasal flu vaccine that it is very successful in the US. This is not true and the CDC (centre for disease control and protection) no longer recommends the use of the Live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV) also known as the nasal vaccine and only recommends the injected flu vaccines inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV) or recombinant influenza vaccine (RIV).
“In 2015 the CDC reported that the nasal flu vaccine was just 3% effective, (1) meaning it offered no protective benefit. In the UK it has been reported that efficacy rates are around 50% for the nasal flu vaccine but upon researching this it would appear these efficacy rates may include the injected vaccine too, hence the large variation.
“GM strains of influenza have never been studied for long term side effects and there is also no evidence that the GM particles are not inhaled by those who should not or choose not to have the vaccine in a school setting.
“The vaccine contains MSG, which a known neurotoxin when ingested, let alone sprayed up a child’s nose towards their brain.
“In addition children should not be given aspirin for 4 weeks after vaccination, as stated in the Fluenz information leaflet in bold, extracted below. Parents, as far as I’m aware, are not provided with neither the leaflet or the information. This is a big oversight and I would suggest that if vaccinations continue at [school name] parents are provided with this essential information.
““Do not give acetylsalicylic acid (a substance present in many medicines used to relieve pain and lower fever) to children for 4 weeks after vaccination with Fluenz Tetra unless your doctor, nurse or pharmacist tells you otherwise. This is because of the risk of Reye’s syndrome, a very rare but serious disease that can affect the brain and liver.”
“Furthermore on the Flumist PIL (2) It is stated in section 13.1 “Flumist Quadrivalent has not been evaluated for it’s carcinogenic or mutagenic potential or its potential to impair fertility”
“Many people think that vaccines are subject to rigorous testing, as with other pharmaceutical drugs, but they are not, as shown by the statement above.
“I doubt many parents would sign up for a not very effective vaccine when risks to their children’s long term health is unknown.
“Whilst sometimes reported as a myth there is extensive information available on the flumist package insert (2). The information shows that the live viruses can shed for up to 28 days, but peak 2/3 days after vaccination. Putting all unconsenting children and adults at risk.
“Side effects of the vaccination are listed in the Fluenz and Flumist package insert. (2) (3)
“Common side effects (more than 1 in 10 of those vaccinated) include runny or stuffy nose, reduced appetite, weakness and headache. and common effects, (1 in 10 of those vaccinated), include muscle pain and fever. Other side-effects include rashes, nose bleeds, diarrhoea and vomiting.
“I am on a parent forum regarding the flu vaccine and there seem to be many schools throughout the UK that are suffering from outbreaks of vomiting and diarrhoea since the flu vaccine has been administered. This could be dismissed as a coincidence but is worth consideration.
“I hope you can understand my concerns about the vaccination, shedding and the lack of appropriate information provided to parents by the NHS, via yourselves.
“I believe by carrying out these vaccinations in schools the children of parents who have decided not to vaccinate against the flu are put at risk.
“I still believe that parents making the decision should be fully informed about risks, side-effects, contraindications etc.

“This is just a small snippet of information as I appreciate your time is valuable. If you require more information I can access this for you.
“I appreciate you are in a difficult position but as a parent of the school and as a teacher myself I feel it’s important to give a balanced viewpoint to other parents at the school.
“I believe that as other Headteachers have stood their ground so are you able to.
“My proposal is that you insist the vaccine be given on a friday around 2pm. This way unconsenting parents can choose to remove their child from school and not be exposed to the shedding. This way only one school day will be unauthorised, the monday.
“This I feel is a very fair compromise. In your letter you express that you feel parents should be allowed to make informed choices. Well we as parents have made informed choices based on research from top doctors and consultants who are no longer bound by the big phama funded research. However if the nasal vaccine is given during the begining of a school week we are left with no option that to remove our children from the school environment and face fear of fines. This is not giving parents fair choice over their decision not to vaccinate their children.
“I would really be grateful if you could take some time to seriously consider the concerns of many parents and to really look inside your heart and be strong when making any decisions. Sometimes its hard to go against the grain but I believe this is where big change can happen for the better in our world and for our children.”
So, if we were to break this letter down as to why it is likely to be effective, here are my takeaways that you can adopt for any letter:
- Start with a paragraph about your concerns – why you’re writing the letter.
- Context/background – what has occured, which led you to writing to this person.
- Briefly state your understanding of the legal situation on this matter.
- Facts, evidence, or science, if relevant, that the recipient of the letter should be aware of, to be able to make a proper decision about the matter.
- Your suggestion/s for an alternative, an improvement, that you think is reasonable in the circumstances.
- What would happen, or what you would be forced to do, if they do not take your reasonable suggestion on board.
- Thank them for their time and entrust them, in their better judgement, to make the right decisions for all concerned.
A rule of thumb is to not make accusations or threats – these are likely to go against you! And leave out ’emotional language’ – DO let them know you are upset, angry, frustrated, or whatever, but leave it there – one sentence is usually enough. Facts are more important.
If this has helped you in any way, or you think it might help others, please share, and please consider donating to the cause – we are about to launch a campaign against medical mandates, as well as continuing to work on the CACUK case.
